You will need a jumper cable, an insulated cable with tooth-like hooks. Get your car ready to jump-start by parking it and turning off the ignition.
Your jumper cable has two red terminals; the positive and two black terminals, which are negative. Connect the red end to the positive and the black end to the negative terminals. Connect one end of the jumper cable to the flat battery and another to the fully charged battery. Please turn on the power source and allow it to supply power to the flat battery.
